Neymar Hints at MSN Reunion: A Dream Come True for Football Fans

In a recent interview with CNN, Neymar, Brazil’s all-time leading goal-scorer, hinted at a potential reunion with his former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez, sparking excitement among football fans worldwide. The trio, famously known as "MSN" (Messi, Suárez, Neymar), formed one of the most formidable attacking forces in football history, winning a historic treble during the 2014-15 season.

Neymar, who currently plays for Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, expressed his desire to reunite with Messi and Suárez, who both play for Inter Miami in the Major Soccer League (MLS). "The reunion with Messi and Suárez would be incredible! They are my friends, we still speak to each other. It’d be interesting to revive this trio," Neymar told CNN.

The Brazilian star, who joined Al-Hilal in the summer of 2023 for a fee of €90 million, has been sidelined for over a year due to injuries. Despite his current contract with Al-Hilal, Neymar did not rule out a move to the United States in the near future. "I’m happy at Al-Hilal, but you never know in football," he added.

The potential reunion has fans dreaming of reliving the glory days of the MSN trio, which saw them score an incredible 364 goals and 173 assists between them during their time at Barcelona. Neymar, Messi, and Suárez's partnership led Barcelona to numerous trophies, including the 2015 Champions League title.

While Neymar is contracted with Al-Hilal until 2025, the unpredictability of football means that anything is possible. Messi and Suárez are signed with Inter Miami through the 2025 MLS campaign, and Neymar’s age suggests he has more time left at the highest level, keeping the door open for a potential stateside move.

The MSN reunion would not only be a dream come true for fans but also a testament to the enduring friendships and camaraderie among the three South American greats. As Neymar prepares for what will be his final World Cup appearance in 2026, the possibility of reuniting with his former teammates adds an extra layer of excitement to his career.
